Morning all!
Went to dentist this morning to get crown fitted. All done now, but my mouth hurts thanks to all that digging, poking and pushing down on my already sore gum
Boo Hoo! It'll be fine.
Anyway, made a PAD of 58 GBP to Halifax CC.
I'll be back later with a PAD to my savings jar.
Do we have a volunteer to count for May? If not, I'll do it.

£21.25 from amazon and ebay sales, paid off my cc debt0

I'm sure you will be fine. My tooth split, hence all the treatment and the crown, so, unless your tooth has done the same, I'm sure you will be OK
Just checked my health insurance policy and I'm actually covered for a Crown up to the value of €500! RESULT!
Also, having my wisdom tooth surgically removed is 100% covered! Yay! That was my main concern.....paying for it! Pain can be controlled and eases during time, but trying to pay such a big bill on a tight budget......not so !!!!!!! easy! But it's covered so yay!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

lol I know it'll be ok it's just a check up,:D its the hygenist (straight after the dentist) that I don't like I'm convinced she's a sadistdon't know what she does with that pointy thing! but it bl00dy well hurts and my gums are sore for a few days after!!!
Lucky you on being covered! :T I think that's the worst bit knowing you have to pay for the pain lol when I had my 2 wisdom teeth removed I think it cost me about £80+ double ouch and that I had a face like a chipmunk for a few days afterwards did not help. I had an impacted wisdom tooth and rather than go to hospital and be knocked out (I have phobia about being put to sleep:o) I opted for my dentist to do it.Debt @ LBM - £25,722 Debt now - £11,811 DFD - April 2012

Lucky you on being covered! :T Not so sure about lucky. I pay €107.69 per month for health insurance here! Bit steep, but it does seem to work well. And I did opt to pay a little more to have more coverage and include some dental coverage too. I think that's the worst bit knowing you have to pay for the pain lol when I had my 2 wisdom teeth removed I think it cost me about £80+ double ouch and that I had a face like a chipmunk for a few days afterwards did not help. Yeah, I hate having to pay for all the pain! lol
I had the top two removed years ago, quickly, easily and relatively cheaply.
The bottom left was impacted and had to be surgically removed. I didn't want to be put to sleep either. Mostly because the general anaesthetic makes me sick and I didn't want that with stitches in my mouth. Had to practically beg them to let me have it done whilst awake though! I think they had seen one too many patients who freaked out during the procedure! Thankfully, that was also covered by the work health insurance, so I didn't have to wait very long.
Now the same has to happen for bottom right (thank God it's the last one!). But, apparently, they won't put you under here unless you have a massive phobia about blood, or surgery etc. Still has to be done at hospital though. But I'm covered by insurance so yayyyyy! lol
As the Crown is also covered, it means that I should be able to hold onto most of my tax rebate!
Cheered me up no end!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Hellllllllllloooooooo PADers!
It's my Friday today as I have tomorrow off as holiday - four day weekend! Thank frick!
Anyhoo, welcome to all n00bs and I hope you enjoy your stay here at Hotel California
Things have progressed with the FIL and we have now taken his car keys away so he can't get more booze. It's a last ditch attempt at waking him up, so looks like an interesting weekend ahead
My PAD for today is £11 rounding down my account and 64p STC, so a grand total of £11.64 to savings please
Hope your Fridays are painless and you all have wunnerful weekends.
