Welcome back FrasersMum! And big hugs for you!

OH hasn't got his contract, but they haven't told him to b'gger off either. Plus, he's already received the money for his expense claim (over a year's worth of commuter travel reimbursement), which is good.

He's told me I should use some of the money to order my cheap, but gorgeous and lilac Milka bike (the heavily discounted one) as one of his friends has been warned about the waiting times for them. So, best to get it now and just give him the money back at end of May instead. Might get the bike in time for Summer then.

He's also calmed down about tomorrow night's plans too as he's now got tomorrow off. And seems quite pleased that our male colleague will be joining us for dinner also. Safety in numbers and all that! haha

Anyway, super busy at work and I have Dutch lessons this evening so will be finishing work a bit early. Must dash.

Have a great, sunny, day everyone :)

    xx

Thanks. And I know there isn't, but if we moved back to the UK we'd prefer to be closer to one of our families. So that's either Somerset/Bristol way, or Kent way.

    Another £1 to Barclaycard today.

    Hello again to frasersmum :hello:

Thanks sasha, just have to keep trying with jobs I guess. On a brighter note I have some work helping my uncle later today - he does freelance and I'll be his assistant - he said he will give me a bit of money when he's paid for the work. :T

Euro, glad to hear your OH has calmed down. :)

Oh I forgot to say about YouGov - I think it took me about 3 years to get to the £50 payout. I couldn't face doing it again after that!

  • I guess they make it £50 so you give up after a while.... I've been a member for about 4 years but gave up after about a year, only now getting back into it. I also read somewhere that they seem to send you less surveys when you are doing loads.

Oh yes forgot to say Millie has come into season! She jumped on me last night and I saw all this blood on my jeans and thought she'd cut her paw or something :o er no lol I had an idea that she was about to come into season cos her teats were getting bigger and her back end (how can I say that politely?) is slightly swollen, so thought it would be a week or two but no!

Should have guessed cos next doors dog has been going off it through the fence the last couple of days :p But him and Amber usually have a good bark at each other anyway so nothing really clicked til last night. Plus I've still been taking her out and no male dogs have bothered her!?!?
