Ringtones, are there any without a "catch"

Is it possible to just get one new ringtone from somewhere, without having to agree to have them regularly or receive weekly texts etc.

I've read through loads of terms and conditions now, and so many seem to have a catch to them

I've tried it and it worked fine, a good way to get the latest songs in good quality for free.

With virtually all songs you can record sounds and play them as ringtunes. This can be done by placing the phone near a speaker. Its surprisingly good quality. - It u doubt it, its worth a try though?

Also most nokia's for the past 2 years can play mp3s tranferred from a computer.
