Vodafone Permium Rate Call I did not make

Hi, has anyone recent experience of challenging a call on my Vodaphone bill - there is a £40 call at a time I know exactly where I was, and no one had access to my phone. Its to a premium rate no, I don't spend £40 a month on calls let alone to one number, and have never dialled premium rates from the phone, so this would be easy to check. I've emailed Vodafone but no reply in a week....before I waste any time on hold to customer services, just wondered if anyone has any tips to getting a quick resolution,

    Hi cazwasere,

This is certainly an odd one and I would be more than happy to look into this in more depth.

As I would need to access your account to view the details of the call, could you please contact The Web relations Team – Vodafone UK.

(When contacting, please quote the code WRT135 in the subject line. In the main message body, please include a link to this thread and your user name.)

I’m certain that we will be able to rectify any mistakes on your account and set your mind at rest that this will not happen again.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    All the best,

Have to say, asan Orange customer, Vodafone seem to be great for customer service on tihs site, wish Orange would follow.

    Anyway, OT:

You can always show them your call register.

Update, just like to thank the team at Vodaphone, after a while on the phone this one has now been resolved and I have been promised a refund.

Suggestions going forward: reply quicker to emails
Have premium numbers as an opt in, rather than an opt out when you take on a phone

    Thanks everyone

I doubt they'd accept that, it's very easy to delete a single entry from the log.

Good to know it's sorted though.
