Push email.

What are the options regarding push email?. I'd really like a blackberry but was wondering if any other handsets support push email without the £5 per month Blackberry charge for this service.

The BB push service compresses the data (lots!) so it doesn't use a lot of bandwidth.

There are other push systems but you have to ensure you have a large data bundle on your acc or at the end of the first month you'll get a HUGE bill...

If you have a google email, they will push email to your phone - iphone, WM and symbian S60. It's called Google Sync

You don't need a blacckberry unless you want to pose with it

depending on the network you can get it included in your plan exactly the same as you would get any other type of data included

It's basically a method that forcibly pushes e-mail to your phone, thus informing you when you have an e-mail.
