If i'm moving, can I cancel my sky, and then get my partner to sign up to them in the new house? We are out of contract so that should be fine, but we'll have the same teleohne number...
I want to do this to get a new HD box...

There should be no reason to stop you doing this. However, don't forget the $ky £10 HD 'tax' they levy. There may be some sweetners offered upfront, but make sure you look beyond these to see how much you will be paying for the remainder of the 12 month tie in.RIP independent MSE.

Look out for the offers, sometimes if a friend recommends you they get £50 or so, which hopefully they will share with you.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Thanks guys. I already have a hd box so i'm aware of the additional costs, but i want a new one and they charge loads for them (unless you're signing up for the first time).
They have a good offer at the moment or free hd box, free installation, and a £25 M&S voucher.
Really I just wanted to know if they would mind me cancelling my existing contract, and then signing up again...Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow0 -
Just cancel if you are not under contract and they will offer you deals and discounts to stay. If it's not what you want then sign up in your oh's name as a new customer (i think this is straight forward but i've only ever signed up in my own mane).0

Beware "free" HD boxes. They may be "refurbished" or what they like to call "A grade". (Basically, I think these terms mean "not new" or "rejected by a previous customer as faulty".)
This doesn't affect your guarantee but it could make early failure more likely. Check the Hard Drive capacity. The latest are 1TB.0
