Not such a chill out day for us....had DS, Partner, GS and MIL for lunch so was cooking this morning, but they bought some very nice wine with them..........:j

Went out for the day yesterday, to Lands End of all places!! Managed to time it right though between the rain showers, very windy and cold though - then back to Penzance where we had something to eat, I thought we deserved to eat out!

Bank account still looks healthy - but come Tuesday everything we've spend over the weekend will have come out plus any DDs!

Is it too early to open a bottle?? All answers welcome as long as they begin with Y!!:rotfl:

Hope you all had an enjoyable day yesterday. Personally, I am glad to be getting back to normal tomorrow. I can't do nothing for very long.!!

May go out for a bit of a wander, just call in at our local supermarket. I can't put it off any longer, I need to buy a hair colour, and I am close to running out of face moisturizer. This debt busting doesn't really leave a lot to be spent on myself, and I am beginning to feel dowdy. May splash out on some nice bubble bath, instead of usual " on offer " stuff, and a nice new nail varnish too. I'm looking pretty scary at the moment, :eek: but wait until this afternoon.....:D....what a transformation it will be. (its going to have to be miracle working stuff) :doh:

If anyone is working today......sorry guys, but to everyone else, have a good day.

Morning All

had plans for to-day but weather is just rubbish, cold wet and windy, typical Scottish holiday weather............... All relaxed and buffed now that I've been off for a week, unfortunately will have to turn on the PC and go back to-morrow, how depressing is that, unlike you Elsie, I could just sit and be a lady of leisure, no bother at all.
Hope everybody had a good Easter and saw the family, I cooked a gigantic ham and in true MSE fashion, we will be eating it for a week........................

aw Nanna, crap one never phone us, OH has been phoning them, pestering them to get themselves sorted out. Must say its been having no effect whatsoever but I don't think they like it when the shoe is on the other foot (what a stange saying that is when you write it down................). Just ignore them and they'll get fed up, they only have the one script anyway and I guess they all take turns reading it..............
