Morning (just) all
It was me who was barbequing in the rain and the wind and the smoke and the cremated sausages, probably got a chill.
Missed Dr Who, missed BGT all for a cremated sausage, at least the wine was well chilled (forming icebergs at one point).
remind me why we live here again???

Hi Moneypenny.

Sorry to hear this Elsie. Nothing instills fear into the heart more than to hear the words sorry it's cancer. I lost a good friend to cancer last year, she was only 51. However, I have many, many friends who have come through the big c and are stronger and more grounded for it. I myself am a 10 year survivor of bowel cancer. I too am sure that he will be fine. How can he not be with a mum like you? :kisses3:0 -

Nice to hear that you all had a great day..:j...who cares about eating next week.!! Mr Asd@ have got tins of beans 2 packs of 4 for £2.!! There you go, that's a few meals of beans on toast.:D
It's lovely to have days out, and the kids are only young once.:) We always struggle to find the money to take our grandchildren out, but we do manage it somehow, and we say that the kids will always remember these days. Our two eldest ones are 10 and 5, and we have taken them on holiday every year, nothing exciting, but they (or rather the eldest) remembers most of them.:T That's what grandparents are for, the hugs, cuddles and unconditional love that we give them.! Oooer mrs===I;ve gone all soppy now.:o :rotfl::rotfl:

Moneypenny.
Thanks for that. We are trying to stay positive, its just at times your mind wanders off into dark places that you really don't want to go to.!! So we try to stay busy and keep from thinking. We have other son's too, and they are supporting their brother, usually by making jokes about it, but its helping.:D
Very glad to hear that you have come through it, and as you say its one of the scariest words you can hear.
Anyway, enough about that, Off for breakfast now and I am in need of coffee.
See you all later guys, and have a good day whatever you may or may not be doing.!!:D:D
