If anyone else wants anything finding, I have got just one more day left, so let me know. Would just have to be England and Wales though....sorry PDD. It's a shame not to get as much out of membership as possible.

I have no idea - did something happen that suddenly made it mega-popular??? Sad that you only have a day left, can you not join again - for another 14-day free trial LOL? If they already know you, perhaps DH or one of the kids could try it out? Just a thought, I am sure they will have put a stop to repeat free trials:rotfl:

I am on Find my past, and they have a six monthly subscription, and I've done it for a while, I can continue, but its £59, which isn't bad, but I have finished my family, so it justs sits there not doing anything, which is why I have done research for others, just to use it up....Ancestry, I have also used, several times, I was a member for about 4 years......think they know me now.

where did you start finding gf and ggf? cant get to marriage cert to see if they are on .and as more than one person crops up dont want to order till im sure:):)

it was the wonderful Elsie:T:T, I had the wrong name(gf died when father was 9), but Elsie found him in minutes. I think its easier here in Scotland cos you can read certificates online instead of having to send for them. I was amazed, I couldn't believe that I had been searching for the wrong person all these years! Good luck

Nanna,

Who's certificates do you want to order? You don't get to see the certificates online in England., only in Scotland.

Let me know and I'll get the correct information for you to order them.
