Oh Cuddly
Doggy is biggest per ever and we all adore him but chewing a cheque was out of order, he's been very quiet all day so he knows he was a naughty bundle.
Feeling a bit down, was tidying up all the totals on CCCS etc and it looks like a huge job to pay all of this off, need to win the lottery!!!More than Two Years in

Well the store card that wouldn't accept the DMP as told me why.
They will accept the payment but not the DMP as the payment is more than the minimum payment.
So happy with that as the interest is negligible anyway.
Mint accepted today so only 2 left.
Citi is one of them and they're transferring it to another firm called CC Asset Management Ltd so don't know the score with them.
Good or bad thing??

Hi Ninnins,
Don't let the debt get you down. We started off owing £74k and after 26 months we have paid off £41k.....we now owe £33k.......still very scary, but a whole lot easier to say out loud now.!! After you have been busting the debt for some time, it then becomes an obsession NOT to spend any money........I almost object to going shopping, 'cos all I can think about is being debt free. My OH is 60 and I am 58 so we have 5 years maximum to get organized.
Wow, that is truly amazing :T you are an inspiration - why, oh why, do I keep getting waylaid off plan? Hopefully if I keep staying tuned in here some of your unadulterated vision will rub off on me ...
... thewad, store cards are the pits, I had so many problems sorting mine out and even transferring some of them on to a normal credit card was in some cases impossible ... oh, why is hindsight retrospective?!!!0 -

I really am going to have to stop watching evening TV. I come back on here and you have all been partying again.
I hate to tell you this DMB but my OH quite often doesn't eat all day and is definately much fatter than Joanna Lumley:eek:
PDD your little doggy sounds like ours used to be. We had a boxer that was really good at answering the phone (apart from putting his teeth through it) and tugging at curtains and papers and letters and anything else that he fancied (but he was still the family baby and could get away with murder:))
Its amazing how far you can make food stretch when money is tight. We are a little bit skint this month because the gas bill was bigger than we would have liked and OH paid for a hire car for our boys to come down for Easter (I'm OK with them so far away the rest of the time but holidays are a bit horrid when they are in the north west and we are in Reading)so we are making do with what we have in the freezer and cupboards. I would happily live off bread and water all month than have not had them visit. Anyway I have got a lovely veg chilli doing its thing in the slowcooker so I am now going to have half an hour with a good book.
Everyone sounds in high spirits so lets hope we all stay that way:)
Have a good day everyone
Cuddles:)
Yup, know what you mean cuddlymarm, my dogs (sons' dogs) get away with murder - but not with DS only surrogate gran! (ME!) There was an article in the paper recently about a man who lost a lot of weight by eating nothing all day then eating til he was full in the evening - the antithesis of everything the 'experts' tell us.0 -

Hi PDD,
Now don't let it get to you, I admit its normal to feel that it's an uphill struggle, but what's the alternative.???? There isn't one. I know that when everyone starts out there is a positive attitude going on, and relief 'cos this problem has now got a solution, an then it sort of levels out, and you feel like you will never see the end of it.But if I can go 26 months on this DMP, I am sure that you can and will. How many times do I get knocked down with one thing and another, but i W I L L be debt free, as you all will be.( A lottery win would be nice though):T

hello all, what a busy day, but just had nice long bath and a medicinal whisky, and it all retreats to its true perspective. And even that is pretty scary.

Good morning everyone,
It was very quiet on here last night.....now either you were all tiredor......you were out nightclubbing.!! Whatever you were or did, hope that you are all ok this morning. Its a bit cold, so the heating has gone on again, only for half an hour and then off it goes, and I'm off to work until about 4pm.
Just done the normal banking check, all ok. It would be nice to see the balance looking a bit healthier, but that's not going to happen.
Have a good day everyone, an don't let the debt busting blues get a hold of you.!

morning All
thanks Elsie, feeling better to-day, just some days it look unsurmountable.
DH was away last night so had a quiet time, no poledancing or anything. Saves on the chaffing cream. Right off to sort out some very very pernickety small businessmen.
have a good day all with no nasty surprises and keep your fingers crossed that the second cheque from the gold people arrives intact!!!!More than Two Years in
