Hi had the LG GW620 a month now and got two problems i was wondering if anyone could help me with.
The first (and most annoying) is the touchscreen..it seems to be unresponsive at times and most of the time (and i dont have fat fingers) when pressing the screen other applications from what you are pressing open! ..as if the screen is out of sink!..are there options for resetting the screen?
The second problem is that when recieving texts they come in threads..ie if i was texting backwards and forwards between someone it would all be on one long page (thread)..my problem is..is it possible to be able to forward texts to another person..
Thanks in advance

Have you tried re-calibrating the touch screen?0

I dont suppose you would mind telling me how to do that..please!;)0

In the Lg Cookie I have, its got a touch settings item in the phone settings where I can re-calibrate the screen. There ought to be something similar in the GW260 unless its a special type of phone ... I cannot find any definitive answer on google but hopefully someone else can point you to the right bit.
Another way (well at least on cookie) is to reset the phone and when it comes back on - it goes through the touch setting calibration as a one off task.0 -
Hey there, I am having the same problem. I too had the LG Cookie and thought I could calibrate it just like the cookie, but looking through the phone there doesn't seem to be no setting for it, I can not find a app for it either ??? hope this helps.
I have got fed up with it as it seems to be doing this all the time rather than a few times a day when it first started. I am taking the phone back to the shop at the weekend and hope the warranty covers it, if i get any where I'll post back up.0 -
1. Screen calibration can be done via Settings->Sound&Display, then scroll down to be "Display settings" section at the bottom, there should be a "Calibration" option there
2. To forward a text go to the messaging app. Open a message thread, then click the tick icon in the top right. This will allow you to individually select which text message in the thread to Delete or Forward.
I should mention that the above is on Android 2.1, it may be slightly different on earlier versions.
Hope that helps.0 -
Nope mine doesn't have that option mine is android 1.5 the first 1 brought out0
