Digital Camera Insurance

Hi,
Just bought a digital SLR and looking at having it insured (currently don't have contents cover so this is just for the camera).
Best so far I've found is £25 a year for:
* Cover against theft and accidental damage up to £25,000
* Replacement on a new for old basis (vintage and rare items are covered by valuation)
* Hire cover until items are replaced or repaired (subject to an approved claim)
* No excess as standard (a voluntary excess will reduce your premium)
* Choice of area covered: from UK only, UK and EU with 30 days worldwide, or full worldwide
Anyone know of any better?
thanks

Hi Epiphone
Who is that with?
I went with EandL last year, but have read on here about others who've used them for other insurances, having problems claiming from themHonorary Northern Bird bestowed by AnselmI'm a Board Guide and volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly on Special Occasions, Green/Ethical, Motoring/Overseas/UK Travel & Flood boards, it's not part of my role to deal with reportable posts. I looked at EandL too but was put off by their poor website to be honest0 -
Having had an E&L policy for other things read the policy carefully. I had pet insurance which covered up to £2000, but it wasn't really truthful. When needed we found it covered up to £2000 per year but with a maximum claim of £500 for any one incident / illness (less £50 excess, so only really £450). Your animal has to be pretty unlucky to need 4 treatments of unrelated problems in 1 year.0

They have a poor reputation on some other forums too.0
