Halifax ISA Direct Reward - new version 2.6% for 12 months

Guaranteed rate for 12 months
4 penalty free withdrawals allowed with no interest penalty
Minimum balance £1,000
Transfers in allowed
I had this account last year and liked the compromise between a guaranteed rate and (limited) instant access. Sadly it's only 2.6% vs last years 3% but still a reasonable option for transfers in, I guess.

Last year's product had the 3% rate fixed for 12 months, the present one does not - it's clearly shown to be variable in the product details - http://www.halifax.co.uk/savings/isa-direct-reward.aspGuaranteed rate for 12 months

A great variable tax free interest rate of 2.60% AER with easy access to your savings.
Variable interest rate (AER) paid annually on 5 April 2.60%0 -
Interesting...I couldn't access their website when I posted the above but I'm sure the publicity I read (newspaper advert) didn't say it was variable until after 12 months. Apologies for any confusion as it seems I was mistaken.0

It is variable, sadly. Just checked their newspaper ad.0
