    yup it is lovely, will most definately be going there I think, now can I wait until the 22nd April to go and look or is it an excuse for a day trip in the next few weeks? lol!!

    just thought, has anyone got a non diamond engagement ring? and what do they think? I just can't decide whether I really want a diamond or not, I like the idea of having something a bit different...

    Yeah I might go for something like that.... we're down at his parents' this weekend and might start looking around the small independant jewellers there, there's much more than here. But My mum is loving browsing online too and I told her to look at selbys!!

    I always thought I'd have a non diamond one but I think my tastes change too much to settle on one colour etc and still like it 50 years down the line!

    I know what you mean - I got to the point with dresses and rings and pretty much everything else where if I looked at another picture of it I think I would go mad!!!

    ive a blue sapphire with smaller tanzanite either side with tiny diamonds either side of those, its white gold with a kinds of celtic criss cross fretwork. i picked it from an antique store and it wasnt any more than £400 if i remember correctly
