    Mine was £450 second hand from a traditional jewellers near us. It's 1/3 carat, white gold with a single stone. Exactly what I wanted (something simple) and it's been valued at £1200 for insurance purposes.

    I'm a tiny size too - mine was resized to a K and it's a little bit too big, I think I could go down to a J, but I don't want to part with it!

    Gleeful you have exactly what I want!!! Don't suppose the jewellers is in the south east anywhere?? And yes I think I'm a K too!! Unfortunately my Oh isn't well atm so maybe next weekend we might try and find some local jewellers!!

    It's not I'm afraid. It's ooop North. I do know a good jewellers in Paignton, Devon though! Where abouts are you?

    oooh yes please!! Devon's a bit far, we're in berkshire but his family are in kent.... in fact if anyone knows of a good little jewellers in either berkshire or Kent (dover, deal, sandwhich etc..) that would be a good start!!

    As you're in Berkshire, why not have a day out in Brighton. They have an amazing jewellery part in the Laines, which is crammed full of Jewellers all competing with each other to sell antique rings and you can get some wonderful bargains!

    Isn't there a ring in either yours or OH family sitting around doing nothing? A lot of older people will still have parents enagement rings tucked away somewhere.
