The funny thing is, I said this on another forum, as a teenager it was drilled into your head "it only takes once, it only takes once" .
Well they tell you about the, I loathe to say complications but I'll say it for laymens terms, complications of when you go on the pill and forget about cycles and ovulation etc etc... :P :P0 -
I got pregnant on Cilest and was still taking the pill 8 weeks into the pregnancy! Surprised doesn't cover it, lol. Good luck with whatever result you have. x0

Presumably you have now stopped taking the packet that you are on?0

Yes I have, to be honest I said to him I personally felt seen as I've missed so many pills and threw caution to the wind last night how does he feel if I didn't finish the packet. He said ok, but it doesn't mean we are trying purposely.0

Oh and to add, I was on the pill from age 16 to June 2009 (when I was 27) when we stopped in preperation to ttc (we were going to Cyprus in the july for brothers wedding and were going to try when we got back from there) and we fell pregnant instantly

Well this morning I've got heavy bleeding, which considering I've missed a weeks worth of pills I'm not surprised. We're just gonna take everything in our stride until it happens.
Thanks to you all0 -
Glad to hear about your news.
I am a complete freak when it comes to contraception so when I missed one (after being on a pill for 3 years) and had sex the same day I went to the pharmacy and bought a morning-after pill. It cost £22 but was worth it considering I didn't want to fall pregnant.
I hear morning-after pills are available from GPs and family-planning clinics for free too.0
