Ryanair Cabin Luggage (Scared)
Comments
-
Just resurrecting this old thread to see if anyone's seen recently a soft-sided cabin bag that would fit Ryanair's 55 x 40 x 20 dimensions?
Thanks.0 -
We use them on Ryanair and have never had a problem.0

Tesco economy cabin bag (with wheels ) about £6, is under Ryanair limits never had a problen on ryanair, or at any airport.0

Liverpool is the worst, and I mean the very WORST ryan Air airport.
The staff are, well, lets just say, the baggage responsible persons, are so strict.
When I travel from other Ryan air airports, eg, Oslo, you can get away with almost any thing!0 -
i've always taken my small case on wheels, when i've travelled with ryanair.
never been stopped0 -
I bought a small pull along case from a local market, they did check the size and said it would be good. The cages at the airport are bigger than I expected so my case could have been bigger even!!!
I wasn't checked on way out, but bag was weighed on way back. we were slightly over but she didn't mind. our bags were never checked for size.
i was mega worried too, but i think those cages are pretty big and some people took bigger bags than me and were so relaxed about it!!!
suppose it depends who checks you in.0 -
I've never heard of not being allowed bags with wheels! Is this still true? I was going out today to try and buy a little carry-on case with wheels as I'm flying with them next week. Could buy a different style of course but wheeled cases are so much easier to carry!
I'm flying from East Midlands airport if that makes any difference.Sealed Pot Challenge Number 1225

The original question and answers are from 3.5 years ago and even the updates are over a year old. Currently Ryanair make no mention of wheels in their baggage information and I have seen many wheeled bags taken on-board. My last Ryanair flight was just over a month ago.0 -
Do you often get your cabin bag weighed and checked with Ryanair? I am flying out from Dinard and on the non-UK side they rarely care, but I will be coming back from East Midlands. When I fly from Dinard I will be coming from my work in France to a friend's wedding back home and I don't know if we will have any scales at all there to check my 10kg, like I will be able to at my parents' house!0
