I am a cash buyer and have found a property for £129,950 in a village in Leicestershire. Any advice on what my opening offer should be? I have read that some people offer up to 10 - 15% below the asking price - sounds a lot to me.

Why not post a link and get some real in depth comments.
Also I know the area and may know the village?0 -
I'm not sure what you mean by "posting some links"!! The "village" is Broughton Astley (LE9). It has 2 double bedrooms but is large downstairs with a good sized garden and off road parking. The asking price appears to be average for this kind of property. I just don't want to go in too high or low!0

Property Bee says it's been on sale since 23 June 2009
I guess it's safe to say you don't face much competition0
