Spent a happy hour baking yesterday and made coconut buns and chocolate brownies to put in the DDs lunch boxes although sampled thaem to make sure the little darlings wouldn't succumb to food poisoning. Its a hard job but someones got to do it. Stayed up far too late watching Alien 3 only to be rudely awakened at 5am by DD2. Will be investing in black out blinds for the summer me thinks. She has developed a nasty barking cough again and is trying for the day off. Having said shes going to school regardless I am now officially public enemy no. 1.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

Something nice.
Last night Dastardly Seducer rang DD to ask if he could come by. As he said he wouldn't be staying long and used the same technique as when he dumped her (had his brother waiting in the car, engine running for quick getaway) she was worried about what bad news he would be hitting her with now. Instead he had called to bring her a Mother's Day card from the bump. She was totally taken aback and ridiculously pleased.
Baby is due in the next two weeks, I am getting excited, she is less so. I have promised her I won't harass her by asking if she has any pains. At least not more often than once every ten minutes. On average.0 -
Helen~Blimey that has come round quickly.
Hadent twigged that the dastardly one had dumped her.Gah.
Really hope all goes well.

Four and a half long cold hours later the glorified garden shed is looking rather shed like. It even has a roof on. Sadly no doors or windows or window boxes as they required a chisel and school don't possess one (good excuse to come home for lunch too). Went surprisingly well apart from the hour spent leveling the base on a sloping playground only for someone to ask if it was possible to have it facing the other way. Erm no. Shamelessly flirted with the road builders some more. Have exchanged four mugs of coffee for the promise of a JCB load of cement into the hole housing the greenhouse. Still working on a quick lesson driving one. Looks like fun. Can see the combination of my driving skills and a JCB being potentially lethal though.
Arrived home to surprise goodies from Mr T. both OH and I have recieved £10 clubcard points as a thankyou for taking out a car insurance policy with them. They also thanked us with bvouchers for the same amount last month too. Still thats £160 in deals so far. Mucho bargaintastic. Don't feel quite so guilty for ordering yesterdays magazine subscritions now. Recieved £45 worth of vouchers in total. Not a clue what I'll be spending them on though. OH is talking about doing some 4x4 charity challenge involving 11 countries in 9 days but needs to find another two likeminded loonies to accompany him as it requires two vehicles per team.
Meanwhile back on planet moo my school has become twinned with a local old folks home which needs some raised beds building and some trellis fitting and as was pointed out to me by several people this morning one of the three ladies loos is still out of order awaiting me replacing the flush mechanism. Perhaps increasing the numbers of hours I work in a week is necessary after all.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Am totally and utterly kettled. Splurged on a chippy tea which was worth every penny of the £5.40. Now attempting to persuade the DDs to go to bed early. DD2s cough is sounding rather nasty, more like a seal barking than a child coughing. I fear I',m in for a very disturbed night. Expecting OH to arrive sometime after 10pm not entirely sure whether I want to wait up for him so that his arrival doesn't wake me up or whether this will be the first time ever I can sleep through the dogs excited routine.
Have a £30 off a £85 spend voucher to use by the 20th on an Ocado delivery. Was planning to do that tonight but my va va voom has va va voomed without me.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Pants. OH has phoned to say hes still at work but expects to leave an another half hour and is going to grab dinner before heading home. No chance of him being back much before 2am. Randomly threw stuff in the ficticious Ocado trolley but most of the appealing offers end tomorrow. Will have another go on wednesday when the new offers start. Mysupermarket.com is quite an eye opener though, didn't realise just how much prices differ between supermarkets.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

Should really go to bed but I'm too tired (said in a whingy whiney feeling sorry for myself voice). DD2 is coughing away with a ferocious temperature despite being dosed to the eyeballs with paracetamol. DD1 keeps impersonating a boomerang by appearing to see if theres an update on the arrival of OH. Can she stay up to say goodnight to him being her latest request. Erm nooo.
Have run out of sponsored polls and surveys to do on Toluna but have discovered that waffling for 80 words is called an opinion and pays 100 points so I've waffled but they ain't paid. Bah.
Can't even tempt myself to bed with my latest book as its truly awful. A murder mystery featuring Sigmunf Freud and Jeung and lots of random high brow meaningless waffle. Sadly I haven't read enough to review it on DooYoo nor am I convinced I ever will. Can't believe the monstrosity made it to print.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -

Good Morning All!
Am feeling considerably more positive than I did last night. Still just as tired thanks to DD2 who seems to have spent the night alternating between couging, wandering in to tell me she'd been to the loo and demanding cups of water. Shes staying home with OH today. He finally wwalked in the door v. quietly just before 2am although as DD2 was awake at this point it really didn't make a lot of difference. Seriously regretting not lighting the fire last night as the house is now v. chilly. No doubt OH will light it later.
Have claimed £20 from V!rgins free scratchcards, my first since the beginning of December. Still that makes it worth an average £80 per year. Written a DooYoo taking me to £17. Only another 66 to go to payout. Aiming to write lots whilst OH is away next week assuming I have the energy.
Plans for today extend as far as hanging out the laundry that I didn't get round to hanging out yesterday, freezing the bolognese that I made on Sunday and snuggling on the sofa with DD2 watching Disney DVDs.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500
