getting washing up liquid out of eyes

I got some bodywash in my eye a few weeks ago, and my goodness it hurt. I actually went slightly mad with the pain! I washed it out throughly with a mix of hot and cold water (don't have mixer tap so couldn't do lukewarm) and it was still very sore for 2 days afterwards.
I found that the Optrex eyebath really helped soothe it, get her some of that to try. As long as the there is no washing up liquid still in the eye, then an eyebath is fine.
I think it was the splashing my eye with cold water and over-rinsing it that caused it to hurt for ages afterwards. Tap water in the eye is very drying and I don't think that helped.
Hope her eye is better soon, I know how painful it is. (Worse than semen!)0 -

Luckily being a hetro male, I can go into it with both eyes fully open, obviously not an option for you ladiesFreedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0
