moving to a new house...
virgin (who i was with) not available
think bt phoneline is plumbed into the road as opposed to overhead
sky is available (guy next door has a dish)
i want broadband and sky tv (sports) not bothered about hd
so variety pack and skysports is £36 per month from sky + £49 for the box
when i go to phoneline i click that i dont have one and the broadband (which is advertised as free) dissappears
says you have to pay them £11 a month for a sky phoneline then set up broadband after its installed
dont want nor need a home phone as i have a crazy number of free minutes on my mobile that i never even get close to using
after adding the phoneline and paying the £39 install fee am i correct in thinking that the broadband options will be free / £5 /£10 unlimited use
are there any cheaper ways of getting broadband as with unlimited it will effectively be costing me £21 a month for the unlimited broadband
with a £39 install fee for something i dont want nor need
tia

Depends if you call a 3g data connection "broadband" or not. I've got a 3g dongle which is advertised as "mobile broadband" but the performance is not so good as I only get 1.5mb/s instead of 13mb/s wired and ping times are dire at bout 150ms vs 12ms wired.0 -
