I just wanted to give a shout-out to O2 for their excellent customer service. I've been with them for a year, first as PAYG, now under a 12-month sim-only contract, and I've had lots of instances of fabulous customer service since then - they answer the phone quickly, are friendly and helpful, always give what I ask for and go the extra mile to make sure it happens quickly, and when I was on PAYG and accidentally spent more than I thought I had because I misunderstood the tarriff I was on they were quick to offer to credit my account with the amount. Very impressed! You tend to see the examples of bad CS on forums like this so I thought it was worthwhile highlighting my experience

I agree with this. I have been on most networks but am now back with o2 - been with them for 3 years now and I came back to them due to their customer service.
Last week I had a bit of a problem when upgrading my sim only tariff online - I emailed them as it wasn't that urgent - the reply back was excellent and just made me happy I'm with them!

Couldnt agree more.
I have had excellent service with O2 over the years. Granted that they are now trying to make a profit to keep the competitors at bay but compared to the other networks O2 is by far the best one.
There are too many people moaning and trying to scratch a non profitable deal out of o2 from these forums. I am glad that some of the 'i want a free phone, unlimited internet, text and a free XXXX phone for £10 per month" type are moving across to other networks. Then I would get an even better experience if I have to call o2 for anything.
Ive noticed that the staff over the past 6 months seems frustrated alot more than they were a few years ago. I can only put it down to "i want or im leaving" types.0
