For anyone interested in football, the museum is amazing ( Yes I am a Liverpool fan, but not being biased here ).
The history of the club, the 5 ( yes FIVE European Cups ) plus all the other silverware is very, very impressive.

This museum is something the likes of ManCity, Chelsea and Arsenal want to reach ( maybe by the year 2050) the heights of ( and something Everton just haven't got a cat in hells chance of reaching before the year 5020 :rotfl:)

I'm NOT a Liverpool fan, but still found the museum very interesting.
Our youngest son is a Liverpool fan, so the tour was a birthday surprise.

Thanks for the advice ..... and the er history lesson lol ......
Think we will stay in Liverpool for a few days instead - seems loads to do for the kids (as well as Anfield for Dad and DS).
Premier Inn looks good - either Albert Dock or Central one - oh decisions decisions!

I'd recommend the Roby Premier Inn before either of those two. Much more scenic with lovely grounds and easy parking. It's 6 miles from Liverpool city centre and opposite the train station (about 13 mins by train to city centre).

either of those or the ibis are fine and cheap - look at travelodge as well. highly reccommend the Liverpool museum which is free and also the Albert Dock and the Merseyside Maritime Museum & International Slavery Museum also free.
