Orange SPV 3100 unlock reccomendations?

I have an SPV 3100 locked to Orange. My local market phone stall says it would have to go away to be unlocked, which I'm not too keen on doing. Does anyone know if an unlock code will work, and which unlocker can be recommended ?

    Orange will do it officially for £20.00.

    fair enough not cheap, but its not some dodgey geezer on a market with a laptop and data cable, so its guaranteed safe.
