Err... not sure. I think you have to buy it from an authorised reseller to insure it. If you mean on your household insurance, I think it will be ok.The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

my daughter has just bought an 3gs iphone and had been charged £15pm for 02 insurance, which is double the above. She hasnt been given the insurance details so doesnt know the terms, I have been searching awhile this evening and I cant find a policy, that doesnt have a £100 excess for accidental damage, please can someone help on the t & c of the o2 policy and if there is a cheaper policy available without such excess, please?0

£15 per month over 2 years sounds (presumably) a lot for a policy as this gives a premium cost of £360 which is about 80% of the cost of a new handset.
Unless you think you are at least 80% likely to destroy or loose your handset then this would seem poor value. I've had a mobile of some description for about 15 years and have managed to avoid loosing or destroying my handset so the premium would need to be very low for me to consider an insurance deal.0 -
its an 18month contract, and she lives in london, I would say yes likely to damage (accidentally) or be mugged, and thats looking on the positive side0
