50's style wedding dresses?

  • I got a Tobi Hannah one and it cost me £400 plus £200 because I played with the design a little (corset back plus straps, underskirt etc)...

She's a relatively new designer and all her dresses are a little kooky.

Just thought I'd add a stockist I found when I was searching for a 50s dress. I've not checked her out irl, but there's lots of choice on the website:

I wore VoH at my wedding, with shoes from Irregular Choice, and felt fab. I'm not really fussed about clothes, and really didn't want to spend much money. The whole lot came in at under £300 iirc. Some piccies here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3684307
  • I'm wearing Kitty & Dulcie 'Pearly Queen' for my wedding. It's beautiful, really well-made, and the service was great too.
  • Love this thread! H2B wants me in a boring wedding dress for the church :'( so I wanted a "me" dress for the evening, I am drooling over these gorgeous dresses!
