Fiat have been getting better in the reliability stakes. Wouldn't say they are top dogs by any stretch but they are middle of the road. I'd say they are not worse than Vauxhall or anything French despite reputation. Was reading about Fiat today that AutoBild the German magazine did a 100K test on car parts, Fiat had some decent results (so did Kia mind you!)
