Hi guys,
Went to o2 via Quidco but not sure if tagged as hiccups\went around in circles\had to log in to my o2 and kept taking me back to options page
Stage 1 o2 avail
Stage 2 *pending* live @ exchange?
Stage 3 *pending* payment??? + then modem dispatch
Stage 4 *pending* go live, not to connect modem until.
What does live @ exchange mean? When do you get billed/bill cycle?
When do you get a projected start date?

Live at the exchange means that BT has moved your tie pair from the Talk Talk DSLAM to the O2 DSLAM.
I guess they process you payment before sending out the router.
When you have it and the Tie pair swap has been done you should be good to go.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
I've had a good news text from o2 Broadband.
They are hoping to activate
/ add o2 BB on my Bt line Thursday 11th March. Dispatch my modem 2 days earlier.
I didn't opt for the up to 20 service as bt couldn't say how far I am from the exchange so miss out on the £50 mob credit.
Quidco are still tracking my order so fingers crossed for £££ (says £75 in email)0 -
Too late for you I luv cats as obviously you are where you are and no point in crying over spilt milk, but after the £50 credit the first year of o2 Premium is actually £20 cheaper than the lower spec o2 Standard!
If your line is long enough to mean less than 8Mbps modem synch (ie o2 Standard limit) then it won't matter re performance anyway, but o2 Premium has some extra perks (eg more online SMS & McAfee licences).
(That applies ONLY IF you would actually use the £50 mobile credit to make calls, otherwise it would just sit unused as credit, so you haven't "lost" £50 by not getting it.)
To help anyone joining the thread late I try to keep an upto date analysis of the o2 subs and their net-cost after £backs/offers etc (and also their sister company Be that has SOME potentially more sophisticated package offerings, occasionally at a lower price too!) at

Thought as not proven line speed of up to 20 it would save the need to downgrade in 12 months time (if only up to 8 in the end) so miss out on £20 profit.
Have Kaspersky already until Feb 2010
Can't wait until get BB back as using o2 active.0
