We have one of these boilers. It was installed approx 9 years ago by the previous owners of our house. We have used it for the past 7 years and during that time we have had only one failure which was the EBI unit so boiler would not ignite. We have it serviced each year and the guy who carries out this work thinks they are OK. He does not like some of the new stuff - he says access is a bit more difficult on the new models. This is the only oil boiler we have had so I can not say if we have just been lucky or not. We have a 4 bedroom property and we use around 1400 litres of oil which I think is quite low compared to other oil users. We also have an open fire which we use for effect and additional heat (just bought a multifuel stove to install this year). Hope this helps. If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you! :dance:0
