Spent less than £20 this afternoon, got 2 till spits:

-20 points for buying Tetley tea bags (20's)
-200 points for £10 spend on Tesco non-food range (includes clothing :j)

Also found another till spit on the floor: 35 points if you buy Homepride sauce (500g). :)

Sainsburys seem to be giving up on me. Before they used to send me vouchers for £4 off a £40 spend. Tesco used to take these willingly.

Sainsburys are now sending me vouchers for 800 points with a £40 total spend. I assume Tesco will not accept these vouchers.

Can anyone confirm this or let me know otherwise.

    Sainsburys just sent me £12 off a £60 shop x 8 = £96. Can I use these in Tesco?

Yes, as mentioned above. It is Tesco's national, advertised policy to accept this type of Sainsbury's voucher.

And the tills will not beep if you don't spend the minimum, nor if you are using last week's or next week's voucher. Only if the cashier notices the minimum spend or the date on them would you be refused (unless of course you're doing the decent thing and using the right week and spending the right amount! Then definitely no problem).

I also got sent the stupid Extra Nectar Points vouchers today, was quite excited when I saw the envelope from Sainsburys. Sadly, these cannot be used in Tesco.

Back on topic now, tillspit day was today!

Used my card for a £12ish shop, got 2 till-spits:

50 points for buying the Telegraph
    100 points for buying Persil

Then used my Mum's card for about £2-worth of shoping, got one I like to call a 'golden ticket' (along with the Computer games/DVDs ones, these are the best):

300 points for £12 spend on kids' clothes

    Oh yeeeeah! :T
