Just to let everyone know - I did get that petrol voucher this morning - so looks like the offer is on for a few more days at least.

  • Well I had OH's tesco mailing yesterday all £10 worth as he doesn't use it much. (Although I had some good bonus vouchers) so today as I had to go to Tescos to get some sweeties for the panto at the weekend I used his clubcard.

Well I was surprised but out popped a till spill for 100 points on a £4 spend on digital photos

I wondered if my card was due one or if, because the points balance is now only 3 points they are encouraging me to shop more.

Sorry to pop this on here, but it's a question which has probably been covered before, so thought one of you guys would know.

    I've received 8 x £6.00 off a £30.00 shop at Sainsburys. Do Tesco's definitely take these.

The cashier would not take my £1.50 off confectionary, and various others sent from Sainsburys, so a bit confused.

    Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, Tesco only accept total spend coupons from rival supermarkets - eg £6 off a £30 shop. I got 8 x £4 off a £20 shop from Sainsbury's yesterday, and used one last night at Tesco - no problemo. My Tesco has a huge banner outside, which says that they accept Sainsbury's and Asda total spend coupons. :j

I don't think Tesco accept other supermarkets' coupons for specific products (such as your £1.50 off confectionery coupon, valid at Sainsbury's), but you can always give it a try.

EDIT: You may want to check the thread below re using Sainsbury's vouchers, and Coupon-mad's excellent post in particular ;)

  • I had vouchers sent to me in the post a while ago £4 off a £40 shop at Tesco. I used these one per week until I ran out and never received a till split. The following week I was paying for my groceries and I got a till split for yes £4 off a £40 shop. The same thing happened for the next two weeks but sadly my run of luck is over. Nothing now for about a month! Some you win....

YES, definitely, and it's their policy to take this type so you should not get a 'no'.

Funny but I keep getting these, even though there's no petrol station at the local Tesco's :rotfl:
