Till-spit vouchers for extra Tesco Clubcard points

Can't resist also mentioning to newbies to always check your receipt at Tesco before leaving the store/carpark, as they have a policy of letting you have the item for free if they overcharge you.
If you notice an error, don't mention it at the till, pay up and then go to Customer services and say 'I think I have been overcharged'. They should refund you IN FULL (and you should keep all your points from the purchase too).
See the 2 threads, 'Tesco misprices' (for tip-offs about wrongly priced stuff) and 'Tesco misprices policy discussion' (for chat and argy-bargy about the above).
P.S. Back on the topic of till-spits, I got the lovely 400 points one for £15 spend on kids clothes earlier (Monday), and 100 points for £4 spend on 'Homeshop' stuff (whatever that is, I'm sure I will find something to buy!).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Today, I did 2 small shops, the cashier rejected my quick read vouchers which this store normally accepts but on the positive side I did get 2 back to school freebie bags for the kiddies.
On my first shop no till spill - had one yesterday
2nd shop I had
100 points when I spend £4 on home textiles (same as yesterday)
100 points on photo processing

Hehehehee, I found a 5p off a litre coupon today too, just outside Mr T's door. Very useful. It also gave me an idea to protect us against the 'anti-womble police'...as follows:
Simply keep your longest-expiry dated Petrol coupon in your pocket when you go to Tesco. Then if you find a lovely receipt in the carpark/entrance/trolley with a barcode offering you some unclaimed points, grab it and put it in the same pocket. If you were to be challenged by a jobsworth, you could look confused and say 'it was only a 5p off a litre of petrol that someone didn't want, look, it's OK for me to use it isn't it?'. I reckon they would be flummoxed, and you could claim the points on your card at another store later!
Oh, and last time these petrol coupons were about, I found so many of them I had spares even after OH and I had filled up more often than normal. I stood in a queue in the petrol station and actually dared to ask the throng, 'does anyone who is not using a Clubcard want 5p off a litre, it's spare?' Some men (who were not using a Clubcard) grunted 'no thanks' and tried to ignore me, but a canny lady struck the necessary deal with me and scanned my clubcard for her petrol too!
P.S. No till-spits for me today, 2 different Tescos.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi nurse sue, no you can't use your magazine coupons online, only at the till instore. And you can't get the free (overcharged) things online either, the full refund policy 'R&R' only applies instore too.
But you do get points if you shop online, check out the MSE sticky on Tesco Codes (to get extra points on certain spend amounts), you don't want to lose the chance of extra points to start you off. Have fun shopping!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
