Till-spit vouchers for extra Tesco Clubcard points

None for me but I did tackle the another self scanner at Tescos - this time I spent about £12 - used £3.30 worth of vouchers and the helper was called over to authorise my voucher usage (this has not happened in the local asdas).

However, as she had become severly irritated at myself and my 4 kiddies under 12 who wanted to scan mummy's shopping. (Especially, when the conveyor belt could not register the lightweight pencil cases for which she returned to our till 5 times before the coupon problem), she told me for once I could use the vouchers.

Am I correct in thinking self-scanner also generate till spills ? thanks welshy x

Havn't shopped at Tesco for two weeks.
But spent £55 yesterday and got two till spits:

200 points when you spend over £10 on DVDs
50 points when you buy Adez soya drink

I think someone here mentioned that self-scans have recently started giving out till spits - they never used to!

PS. I know all about little helpers trying to "help" (and I use the word very loosely) scan the shopping :rolleyes: :rotfl:

Shopped at Tesco's Burton on Trent, spent £16, this morning and got a Till Spit for:-

100 Extra Points when you buy any Ariel Tablets Valid until 08/10/06

Sorry a little OT, but I've just seen how much Till spits go for on Ebay!! I can't believe how many I've thrown away!!

Does anyone know if you can use two identical till-spits (several days apart) with the same clubcard number? Eg Can I use the 750 F&F till spit today and then use my mums identical till spit (with my clubcard) a week later?

indeed you can use identical till spits - if you had to spend £30 on F&F to get the points but gave them both in one transaction it would not work. But as you said it will be 2 different transactions and so in the words of Bob the Builder "yes you can". I do this quite often

£115 spent in tescos and still NO till spits i havent had any for weeks and even then it was only 50 points for something i dont buy ....anyone offer a reason why i am getting very fed up now

I agree that Mondays and Tuesday are the best , usually when i spend over £10. Other halfs brother works at Tesco head office and says that if you don't use them they stop giving them to you!

it's amazing how many till spits you can find at the trolleys !

ah I hope I get one tomorrow, I will have to pop in at lunch-time, maybe I will split them over 2 shops to test the tuesday theory
