50 extra points as a thank you for shopping with Tesco Direct. :j

Off topic (didn't know where to put this :o): there was a lady at the entrance of my Tesco Extra who was handing out leaflets with 2x50p off wys £2 on bakery (two coupons on each leaflet). Tesco specific, valid until 13/05/07. ;)

    Today I got ...

350 Points on Mens Clothing ....
250 Points on Kids Clothing ...

... plus we found another Mens Clothing 350 on the floor by our till ... :T

... and another off off topic post MBN ... The products with coupons thread has disappered without trace ...

I have taught No.1 son well ... while staying at a friends house last weekend he noticed that on the little multi-pack Nestle cereals there were coupons ... he said 2 x 30p on each ... That's my boy! ... ;)

Can anybody confirm this ... ?

    I've been Money Tipped!
Just re-reading through, re what spits you get.

i know I've only recently needed to buy sanitary products again post giving birth, after a long time of no purchasing in this area. A spit for 100 points of Tampax Compak came today. I only ever buy normal ones, so are the spits trying to upsell in an area you don't buy much in?

Same for my womens clothing spit today...haven't bought any clothes in tesco for ages, but have done recently (due to a kitting out DD for her first trip in the sun care of Clubcard:rotfl:) so along comes a voucher encouraging more spending in this area where I hadn't spent for a while.

Anyone else find this is true of their till spits?

Hi, could anyone tell me why I never have any till spits?

My grandfather doesnt get any.....cos he's dead.
My auntie doesnt get any..........cos she doesnt shop at Tescos.
My brother doesnt get any as he isnt a clubcard member.
My sister doent get any cos she doesnt use her clubcard.

Apart from the reasons above.....the why, how, when, which, or what mystery of till spits is seemingly unknown by us mere mortals.......................at the moment.

I thought that too as for about a month Ive stopped buying my meat at tescos (better quality and cheaper at butchers) and today I get a till spit for 200 points WYS £6 simply cook meet and poultry range, but then I noticed some others did too so maybe Im not so sure now.

I have copied most of my post from the page before last....you will need to phone Dundee I think, see below (I only phoned a week or so ago but it hasn't worked for me yet, maybe the system has to build up some info about my purchasing and product preferences then it will reward me with H&B and clothing till spits galore?!):

QUOTE.........not had any till-spits for a long long time:

I phoned up Dundee the other day about my marketing options. This was after I had already checked on the website that the 3 qs under 'contact preferences' were all set to allow contact (they were, so I thought there must be more to this...).

Anyhoo, my card is a newish one (no till-spits ever so far) and the girl said 'oh, your demographics have not been set at all' (?) so she proceded to set them as 'yes yes yes' to everything marketing-wise.

I may well regret that as it includes Market Research, but I wanted my options to be 'all-systems-go' IYSWIM! But it shows that you need to phone Dundee (tel no on back of Clubcard) not just look at your contact preferences. QUOTE
