Till-spit vouchers for extra Tesco Clubcard points

I emailed Tesco Customer services to find out why i have never had a till spit...they didnt seem to really care!!!

My first email......

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have recently heard that Tesco shops can produce extra clubcard till coupons but i have been shopping at Tesco for 3 years now and have never received this extra bonus.

Please could you tell me why?

Thank you for your email.

I'm sorry that you were disappointed because you didn't receive the extra Clubcard coupons. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused on this occasion.

Our Marketing Team sends out promotions all year round, often for special occasions, for instance when we open a new store in an area, or if a store has had a make over.

Other promotions are targeted at Clubcard customers, but they are sent at random. This means that not every customer will receive a letter or even the same promotion coupons.

Dear Priscilla,

Thank you for your reply but i do not feel this answers my question. I was enquiring about the clubcard points that are offered when a customer has paid for the items and the coupon is given with the receipt not clubcard coupons through the post.

Am i not entitled to these extra coupons for any particular reason?

I shop at both Tesco supermarket stores in Bedford, and Tesco Extra in Kempston, are these stores not eligible for these extra till produced clubcard points?

As i previously mentioned i have been a regular Tesco customer since i moved out of home 3 years ago and am suprised i have not had any extra points offered being such a loyal customer instore and also using the home delivery service.

I went to get my last toiletry fix of the current offers. Young SA was lovely on the till and I handed him alot of vouchers and he scanned away cheerily.

outside I noticed a half price Bernard Matthew wafer thin voucher (equivalent to 99p off) till spit so picked it up

Next to my car was a trolley with a soggy wet receipt and some other bits of paper, I picked it up and was delighted to discover 2 till spills together

one for 100 points when I buy any tampax compak

and

one for 100 when I spend £3 or more on the Tesco simply cook meat and poultry range

On the way to the office they dried up a treat so can now use them, interestingly they had survived all night in the wet wales weather until I found them a dry home LOL.

Three in one shop is very good for me.

I had today through the post a Bounty mailing with included a £2 off £40 spend at Morrisons voucher (my local tescos will accept that) and a voucher for a goodie bag which I picked up in store that included:

specific morrisons vouchers, toilet rolls, some choccie bars, horlicks samples, and 2 drinks.

all in all a very successful couponing day !

No till spits for me again, couldn't take DS as he had football match to go too

After lots of my coupons being rejected on Saturday I braved popping into Mr T for a small H&B shop (just in case coupons were refused) and happy girlie on checkout scanned the lot, bl**dy typical if I'd have known would have done the healthcare ones too.....

It will be a month tomorrow (not that I'm counting) since my last till spit, so if the cycle thing is right then maybe just maybe I might get one!!!

I think these are the ones from multipacks that were around a few months ago (not every pack in the multipack had coupons on - only 4 out of 8, I think). There are two coupons on each, but one is for Ireland, and the other one for the UK. I think the UK one was for 25p off (might have been 30p - I used up mine a long time ago).

dh just brought me in my first ever till spit - 30pts on £1.60 fruit juice spend

Strange thing happened, I lost my tesco clubcard again, phoned up the store confirmed my name and got given it back - bought a paper - checked my points balance expecting it to be nearly 4,000 - it was 73 points !!!

then realising that NO clubcard of mine could have such a little amount I checked on-line and the clubcard is not mine so it is going back tomorrow.

the names on the clubcard both mine and the mystery one are identical - fancy there being another Welshy locally ! and imagine if I had used it and vouchered across the health and beauty offers the surprise they would have got when they got their clubcard statement and seen all this wonderful points !

I have tried to do this also but it was pointless as they dont seem to get Till spits no matter how detailed you discribe them.
My first reply was similar to your first, about mailings:rolleyes: I tried again and then they apologised for me not getting email offers :rolleyes:
