  • Talking of brilliant till-spits, I saw one on Ebay yesterday for 200 points when you spend £8 on toiletries. With coupons and 50 points on £2 spend... I can only dream... ;)
why would someone want to bye a till spill
  • Well.......I went shopping tonight and spent £68 on clothes,I say spent I actually only spent £13 after using all the various clothes coupons around at the moment. When the SA gave me my receipt he also gave me a till spill for 750 points wys £30 on clothes. How rude!!LOL.I'll now have to go and buy more clothes from Tesco!!!

Some people cant get them, or havn't discovered swapping on here or PTS I guess. I have to say that I think they go for very silly money sometimes, often more than the voucher is worth in deals! I personally wouldn't buy one unless it was a very good deal. I just saw it when I searched for tesco toiletries looking for some cheap coupons.

are you more likely to get them if you pay via debit card etc - the woman in front of me tonight paid via card and got 2 tickets thrown out at her...i paid cash and got nothing..... Is it just pot luck? No vouchers or booklets at my local either :(

this is pure rumour and speculation but I've never had a till spit and me theory is that as I used to get loads of R+R's from Tesco perhaps they put a black mark on my clubcard to punish me now!>!>?

I feel left out of the till spit club - to make up for it I got a couple of DVD's tonight which were incorrectly priced (marked at £5.97 - scanned at 19.99) which meant they had to refund double the difference - revenge is mine!!!!

    ;)

My latest theory is that you reduce your chances of a till spit if you use a manufacturers coupon. However on two diff cards yesterday I only got one spit (450pt off a £20 spend of womens clothing) despite not using a coupon. Then I wondered if it was related to how many points you had already saved: the one without the spit has 3000 odd points and the one with only 1200 points.
ANybody else who can add to this theory?
I spent about £18 on each card.
