50 points for a £2 spend on childrens books.
quite pleased with them, I had my first greenhouse at 14 so love pottering around so will buy that (although my greenhouse is full of junk at the moment from the demolished garage) and maybe I have scanned alot of book voucher lately so they have know we read alot too.

We all need some help with this and I'm hoping it doesnt involves huge shopping bills. I already womble some points and have had a few r&rs over time but I (and others) must be missing something because I've only got 125 points left after receiving £8.50 in vouchers last week.
Sorry, you must get fed up repeating yourself.

- no I never get fed up with queries from anyone on here, whether it be PMs or on the board, I am quite happy to respond.
At the moment, we are having a large extension done, so everything is paid on the tesco credit/clubcard and we are getting points there, I also buy products that have bonus points on them, use as many of my tesco points vouchers from mailings and shop wisely.
For example I had a voucher for 40 points for chat magazine, OK I never buy it BUT slip them a money off voucher together with the chat magazine and the mag is free and I have the points too. :T
https://www.paidtoshop.co.uk has been fab since I joined for their advice too and I love the swapping vouchers section as there is always someone that wants what I have and vice versa.
I try to limit my tescoing and only visit around 3-4 times a week, I don't do on-line shops but prefer in store shopping. I am also signed up for various clubs as zippybungle mentioned.

Well I just have to report I got my first ever till spit today (and it's a usual shopping day). Got a double points voucher.

Edit: and having read through the posts on the last couple of pages, I have amended my clubcard options online recently to include offers as I wanted the magazines - suddenly I get a till spit I have never had before!!
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Thanks everyone for the info about the till spits. I hadn't been getting these either but I just called up and they've lifted the 'no offers' thingie that was on the account. I'm looking forward to my next visit LOL.0

First till spit today for ages........... 20 pts on £1 biscuits.
Had to smile though.... used 3 points vouchers from the mailing I'd received.
25 on 80p of bread.......... got lge organic Hovis and two packs of wholemeal muffins on reduced stickers ... total 87p:D
25 on £1 of baking products......... got 2 x 1kg sultanas on BOGOF £1.17
25 on £1 of veg.......... got value carrots and a cabbage £1.53
Also found the 100% extra Douwe Egbert coffee on BOGOF.... so 4pks for £2.59
Some biscuits on BOGOF and two more products on buy 2 and save 14p and 50p.
2x 450g Kellogs Rice Krispies at half price... 87p each and a couple of other bits on yellow SELS.
So, subtotal was £18.12
minus BOGOFs etc of £5.12 gave me a total of £13. Luverley....
I handed over my points coupons, and a 'few' other coupons...... including old Somerfield, Asda, (yes still got a few Christmas cake ones), and Sainsburys mixed in with a couple of 30p Freefrom that need using up..:D
SA was a really nice young guy so I didn't 'take him all the way' ... if you see what I mean
I stopped when I got it down to £2.77.
Couldn't believe it when I got the till spit..............
..........sorry to go on about this, but I just couldn't believe my luck:j :j0 -

I too have NEVER had a till spill, I emailed customer services and they replied saying it's only randomly selected customers who get them and people are not guaranteed to get them everytime.
I read today a bit further back iin this thread from Littlebill that if you ring customer services on the freephone number on the card and ask if you have opted out of the offers, if so you will not receive any (like me), this was what had happened although I cannot remember ever saying didn't want any offers
, so they have now lifted it.
Fingers x'd I now get some, I am going to call in tomorrow and try it out!!!:grinheart I've caught it - The TESCO bug!!:grinheartTesco points have paid for Florida holiday this year'Kids now have 'womblitis':rotfl:I :heart2: MSE£2 savings 2008 = £46Quidco £244.95 PAID 2007 - £54.62 received to dateKids Finders keepers jar £5.99 -since 26/5/070
