  • Even if the transaction was real the likelyhood of the police turning up in your doorstep is remote. I get these kinds of emails all the time I just delete them, I also get the ones which say Ebay need my logon details ASAP or my account will be suspended. All rubbish dont let it worry you.:D

    If your worried that things are being sold couldn't you search for items sold in the last 30 days here? Especially as you seem to have forgotten your password http://www.goofbay.co.uk/ebay_tools

    If they want your phone number and have really won am item from you all they need to do is request it from Ebay.

    My advice would be this.
    1. Log into Ebay (if you can't recall your password, do a reminder request).
    2. Check your personal messages, and then check your "selling history".
    if all is well...
    3. Delete your account. No point in having something there you won't use, inactive, that hackers will try and get from you.
    It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

    Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.
