Hi all
Just wanted some genral advice on our water charges.
We live in a 2 Bed Council Flat. There is only 2 Adults and no children and we wanted to know how do we work out if if we was to change to a Water Meter would be better for us or not.
At the minute we just had our bill from Seven Trent for the next 12 months and it says it will cost us £303.44 for Water Supply & Sewerage and Surface Water for our 2 Bed Flat.
I know this is hard to work out but we have 2 Bedrooms but as there is only 2 Adults in the flat it seems alot the current charge does.
We dont have a shower only a Bath, We use the washing machine i would say 1 or 2 times a week and tend to use the bath 3 or 4 times a week.

A bath is more expensive then a shower but to be honest no one here can tell you the answer to your question
Call Severn Trent and go through the calculator or do it online

The one thing to remember is that for £303 you can use as much water as you like but on a meter every drop counts so if your situation changes so will your usage.
However you can try it for a year and see.....just call STW and they can arrange a visit and fit a meter, you have 12 months from the day it goes in to revert back should you wishThere is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;
So they break the hearts of kith and kin, and roam the world at will.

Good advice above, I suspect there will be not a great deal of difference if you are average users.0
