help phone or sim

Hi just wondering if anyone can help I have a nokia N96 on 02 payg i have started to have a few problems but i am not sure if its my phone or sim card It has on some occasions had trouble sending text messages by freezing until the phone is turned off then on again but the main problem is that on many occasions it sends the same text message over and over again within minutes of each other which is annoying as i get charged for them so just wondering if anyone has any idea whats causing this problem Thanks in advance

I would guess that it is more likely that the phone is at fault.

You have hinted at the answer yourself, you need to either try your SIM in another phone or try a different SIM in your phone to be sure.

The sim only authenticates the handset on the network, the handset itself will be the problem, try backing up all your data and master resetting the handset by typing in *#7370#, if that doesnt help then reinstall the handset software using the Nokia Software Updater, available on Nokias website
