Sadley, can't afford it these days and have no one to go with any more.

Do you remember how they used to call the Ferraries "mobile chicanes" - I felt so old when I rediscovered F1 and found Villeneuve Jnr and Hill Jnr on the track! I missed seeing Senna race but so glad I also missed seeing his death, am with you on the improved saftey.

Which races are you off to this year? was it you or Brazillianwax who went to Monsa last year? Looks like the Arms thread died a death this year.

Must have been Brazilian Wax. Perhaps we can get a new thread going. What do you think?

Actually I much prefer Massa. I'd love him to return from his injury and win the championship, it would be fairytale stuff. Alonso is supremely talented though. I'm also very excited (although he races for another team) to see Nico Hulkenberg racing this year. I met him a couple of years ago when he was racing in a different formula and he came across as a really nice guy. I hope he does well too. Its nice when you've met someone, you can root for them with that memory in mind.

I like Massa also, good bloke.

    I've been Money Tipped!
DH and I have been baking today (and gardening, the potager looks full of potential again).

We're getting into a slight surplus of eggs again but we're having people to stay three weekends in april, so baking lots now. Also having a friend and her newish boyfriend visit tomorrow. I rally, really want to like this one, and him to like us, as she's a really, really good friend, and it would be horrid if we didn't all get on well, and so I'm trying to ''bake a good impression''...not a lirism, I mean bake.

eta: but what I really wanted to write somewhere was excitingly spring was well and truly marked today: saw daisies for the first time this year!

Yes, ds saw some here about 2 days ago - he was so excited! I can't wait until the daffs open - we've got zillions that OH planted, that come up faithfully every year...

At 3, ds is still too little to remember last spring, so it's all new for him, like the first spring that ever happened. He knows from books and us telling him that spring is when the leaves come back on the trees and the flowers start to come up, and the blossom - he's watching out for it so eagerly. :)

I love spring. My favourite season. :)

Oh Cleaver, I'm so disappointed. Pet hate number 1: men who smoke. Pet hate number 2: men who wear baby oil. Oh well, we'll just have to chase after Hamish and ask what he looks like now.
