I don't know what the red dot was but they are just webcam pictures.

It looked like the red dot you get in a pic before the flash goes off. In reality I couldn't see very well as am only on a netbook, not a laptop, which will teach me for next time we crack the albums out.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I'm leaving my photo up for the night.....now off to bed, absolutely shattered tonight.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Thanks Sue - I went to bed so glad you left it up - bizarrely, you look really exactly what I would have expected. And fc too - I must be quite good at guessing. :p

Shame I missed the 'hunky' sssss. Who actually I have zero mental image of. Except Colin Firth. :p

MY OH would string me up if I posted a pic; he thinks (not unreasonably) that I post far too much personal info already. I would be pretty recognisable to anyone who knew me in RL from my anecdotes, if not my persona - I think I probably let out more personal info on here than I do to all except close friends, and I don't think I'm as (loudly) opinionated in RL either - I have opinions, obviously, but I don't foist them on peole generally.

This is my sounding (off) board; so in some ways you lot probably know my deepest thoughts better than most friends. Does that sound weird?

Don't think anyone I know posts on mse (though I have directed my brother here a few times in the past; he's quite an mse sort of person - would be weird if he read my stuff, as he would recognise me I'm sure). But I'm hoping that as he's been a homeowner for donkey's years and has no mortgage, AFAIK, the housing board would be about the last board he'd visit. :o

To add, if you want to know what I really look like (Nigella aside!), you'll have to organise a meet then, won't you?!

If only lir was here. She would love playing this game.

I would have done :o:( :D I missed your picture.

edit: dirty blonde? Is that mousey? My hair was looking great this week then I used some colour enhancing shampoo and its gone weird :(

I had pink hair for a while. I bet none of you expected that. I was a teenager though, so don't suppose it counts.

Just for you I've put mine up. Will take down soon, but thought it only fair to play along. Now ladies, what is this thing we all seem to have with holding up random parts of our heads?

Oh no, I missed yours too, viva - shame as I got your description of yourself earlier, and your comment on choosing a Simpsons' avatar due to having "sallow" skin - that has now led me to imagine you as actually looking like your current avatar. :rotfl:

Was it lir who described you as looking like Snow White in their imagination? I think that image has now stuck too!

Sadly, in real life, I look far more like my Simpson's avatar than Snow White, though you may want to get a second opinion from fc, Sue and all the sss's. Snow White sang to the birds and they would land on the palm of her delicate hand, in my case they just !!!! on my hair (has happened more than once), so even birds think I look more like the Simpson's character.
