    Mother's are freaks about our men. Mine did almost exactly the same as yours. actually, she's gaga about DH too.

    Grrrr! I have no chocolate either! :mad: :(

    I do have nice bread, real butter & pate though.... that will have to be my gluttony fix for tonight I think... :)

    ETA: Its all getting a bit serious in here- I'm def off to the kitchen (but I will add I find mothers, well, mine, very weak too.... I get you ws :-))

    Yeah, but its a fine line. Men have it tough, tougher I think, now, than us. Men are, more emotionally fragile, we tear a bit, wail and heal...leaving scars...they break a bit, but the broken bit shatters...doesn't really repair...leaves a void. IMO.
    a well known psychologist once told me that women have a capacity to love, and relove, whereas men are more likley to love, really love once. Everything after that is unknowing comparison. Not sure I fully agree, but I see what he was getting at.
