I think I'm on a create a new post page....I think its called quickpress on the tab. It has space for title, text an tags...so guess would be right?

PN, understood. In my mind you know EVERYthing about everything to do with internet stuff.

edit: choice is to save or publish, it refuses both!

In the URL / web address box, can you check if the address looks something like http://YOURBLOGNAME.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page ?

It doesn't sound like you are actually in wordpress.com ... maybe I'm wrong? But quickpress sounds a little like another site?

Quickpress is a new bit of Wordpress, that enables you to quickly create a post, without all the other bits.

It's in my admin panel when I login, but you know those bits where you never look because you just do what you always do .... well, it's there, in my blind spot. But I've seen it in my Wordpress admin panel.

I just looked. I have Quickpress in some of my blogs, but not all. Maybe I installed it (plugin), maybe it came with a theme.... who knows, but it's there in at least one of my blogs.... but not all.
