I think it is fairly new (5 years) and yes Viva is obviously my 'best' stalker. The Watford one is much bigger and that roundabout does have the cheapest petrol in a long way.

You would know me at the Supermarket as the Mrs is in next or M&S spending all the money I am saving with my MSE shopping. I have the elder two who I mostly manage to keep in the trolley despite their being much too big for it, the extra weight in pushing them I think is outweighed by the advantage of not having them running off/picking everything up. We also normally steal a couple of bananas that they eat on the way round - I think Mr Sainsburys probably makes enough profit from us to cover this 'shinkage'...

I missed the moderately large M&S food hall within cycle distance and the large one within the car distance. Based on the M & S shopper profile Britain's pensioners are not too badly off...

I've never played bowls. Used to be allowed to walk to the next cul de sac and watch the old folks playing it one night a week when I was about 8-9 though ... although mum recently spilled the beans that she'd actually have run round the other way and be standing in the bushes at the other end keeping an eye on us :)

Bowls is for old people .... like 70-80. Or it is where I've seen it.

There are two bowling greens here I'm aware of - old-people-fests.

You have failed the practice citizenship test.

Questions answered correctly: 13 out of 24 (54%)

Time taken: 03 minutes 48 seconds

I only knew the answers to 3. Guessed the rest.

Had NO idea whatsoever about most of them.

Where were the questions about Corrie? Or jam roly poly? Or what dogs does the Queen have?

    Happy birthday.

I've probably not had a birthday cake for about 40 years!

Er ... I mean 10 years because I'm obviously still very young.

I'm nowhere near anybody. When the motorway ends, you'd still be at least 1.5 hours' drive from me ... and 90-100 miles.

I think Pobby was near me though, although he's disappeared. Obviously didn't want to invite me over for tea and bowls.

Near = 36 miles and an hour's drive.

I think about that sometimes, and wonder if I've ever come across any of you IRL. But I don't know where any of you live, apart from Ferrety and lics, neither of whom is anywhere near me.

My mother went to a random town about 6070 miles from where she lives where a friend who I'd lost touch with (not intentionally, just with moves, and lost mobile sand address books etc) was also at randomly, 15-20 miles from where she lives, and the friend saw my mother and now we're back in touch. Its so weir that but for visual recognition any of us could be in the same time.

Oh, btw LIR if you read this. I was on another forum (for the band James) earlier, & there is a poster called lostinsound (Sound being one of their most popular tracks). It's not you is it?:)
I read it and its not me. The ''lost in ....'' names are popular :( its hard to fnd ones that aren't taken. lostforwords is always taken too!:D

I failed too.:( I scored only 15 in just under 5 minutes. :o

I'm obviously not worthy of being a British citizen.

Seriously, what a complete load of cobblers that was! The thought that someone was probably paid extremely well to devise the test makes my blood boil.

Pastures, you got it right with the jam roly-poly comment. Mind you, you missed the one about the make of car that the Trotters drive in 'Only Fools & Horses.' Catches them out every time! :rotfl:

My back kills from using the hedge cutter. And I really hate electric fencing. I hope santa brings me a fencing contractor for christmas, or some reasonably mature hedging.
