    hello fc :)

Pastures: I need some advice, I need to buy(?) or register(?) a website?? This is for the project and then it needs a design and I'm getting a graphic artist to work on it.. We've got some content to go on plain pages and would like a blog incorporated in it. What would be best?

We had a nearby focus diy close a year ago - it was between wickes and homebase. They are redeveloping the unit and I was really hoping it would be a B&Q as that would keep the others more price competitive but am gutted to see it will be a Dunelm Mill - especially as the Mrs is quite partial to their overpriced tat :(

That'll be the second closest Dunelm to me when it opens. Maybe I can meet up with your missus, talk cushions and window treatments ;).

No sign of the clothes airer on Dunhelm Mill website either.........:(

    I am on a mission now....................

Here is one from TescoDirect... http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.205-0611.aspx
    Argos have one:

You can look online to see if they have one in a store near you too, and reserve it before dashing in to collect.

The Argos one is the most similar to the Dunelm one, looks the same make, but the Dunelm one is only one tier. Not sure I'd want two tiers, but it is very close to the same (only more expensive).

Ellie, now I've sent you off on so many missions I hope you like it, I'll feel very guilty otherwise :o.

Stamps feet! I love Dunelm but I've only been to them "up north" when visiting relatives.

According to the Dunelm website, the nearest to me is Harrow. But I don't do Harrow because the traffic is a nightmare and I get lost round the one way system.

Harrow is not near Michaels and I can't remember where you live exactly but I thought it was Herts. So you and Michaels must have a secret one not on the Dunelm website.

    Where?

The one Michaels is talking about not on website yet as not open, but I think I know where it will be. There are two Dunelm Mills in Herts already (that I know of) as well as one Luton/Dunstable way, should be easier to get to than Harrow. I hate driving in Harrow, horrible place to get to by car.

You certainly won't need to journey up north.

I used to go to Harrow CC by car. The buses were a PITA and from where I was it was an easy drive. Never been into Harrow:o....just to the CC.

After Harrow, Hemel is the next nearest, another no-go because I get lost trying to avoid the magic roundabout. Then Stevenage, but thats quite a distance away.

You wouldn't have to go via magic roundabout. Take M25 to junction 20, take A41 towards Aylesbury, come off at Hemel turning but at big set of traffic lights take a right to Apsley (straight on would take you to magic roundabout). Its along there on left.

One wrong turn and I'll end up on the magic roundabout.

I may try it one day. Leaving you and michaels to your secret store.;)

TBH I would go the other way at the M25 roundabout taking the little road after the A41 which is then pretty much straight for about 3 miles (across 2 or 3 small roundabouts and one set of lights) then the Dunelm Mills is on the right at a set of lights - used to be a homebase outlet store ...heaven but it couldn't last :(

    The magic roundabout is fun:rotfl:

michaels route will definitely avoid magic roundabout, you would really need to go wrong to end up there! Never knew it used to be a homebase outlet though.
