I didn't know that either. I thought 'dessert' was posh, and 'pudding' was sort of homely.
I have a vague idea that 'afters' might be non-posh - that was what we called them at primary school.
Then again, these terms could all be regional varieties.
How interesting.0 -
I've always used the word pudding and I'm definitely not posh. Dessert though, that's very posh. One of my favourite puddings is Angel Delight - butterscotch flavour. Sorry Pastures, but how can that possibly be posh? Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Was Angel Delight an iconic development of the 1960's ?
I bet mums who served up Angel Delight, washed their faces with "beautiful pink Camay"0 -

Quicky fly by tonight, got my assignment score back and surprised myself again, to me it read like gobbly gook but it got a decent mark.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
