I'm hoping that too.
All the best, lir.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

We'd hoped to take he old girls out but events conspired (included tack eating mice) and so we've spent the whole day in the garden. So much death, and it feels so weird not having done our sowings yet...the garden does look behind, but hopefully everything will explode together in a couple of weeks and it will be jaw dropping.
The less fun news is that for the first time in ages my nerves started firing about an hour ago. Its taken me about 10 minutes to walk in from the front garden to sit down, one painful step at a time. (I should have come in/sat down immediately, then I would have been alright but I felt on a roll out in the garden). My dad and DH are really worried in case I'm not ok through the week alone which is making me stressed! I feel so stupid0 -
Don't feel like that......hopefully a rest will sort it out. What normally happens when it does this? Like how many days to get back to OK?
I don't know. TBH this used to be pretty constant, and its NO WAY as bad as it was. I'm hoping it might be gone in the morning. (Has anyone else been sleeping insanely deeply ATM?) I'll be ok, because its not as bad as it had been while doing normal stuff
I guess the sensible thing to do is to tread carefully for a couple of days, see what happens.
edit: BBC have the great american songbook thing continuing tonight so dh and I are playing along on the flute together. I blow and he fingers. I know LJ will love that, but its true. I only have enough puff for the first stanza or so though...lol.0 -

Yes!
My guess is that the extra-super weather we're having has caused you to overdo it a bit. A couple of weeks ago, if you were like me, you didn't feel like doing much beyond the basics outside. Now, the temptation is to go at it full tilt, instead of building up gradually.
Anyway, hope you soon bounce back.0 -

Actually, now you mention it..since temps rose and sun came out I am sleeping really soundly too. Maybe the cold wakes us up in the night?
I've been the opposite!
I'm back to sleepless nights and when finally (and if) I do get to sleep, blooming far too early mornings. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Hope you feel better soon Lir....

Davesnave is probably right lir, plus, in the nice weather, you may have dehydrated a little more than previous days/weeks. All contributory factors.Yes!

I had a small shock inspecting my plants this weekend - broccolli, tomatoes, lettuce, sprouts, chives all sprouting nicely!:) Planted some flowers for baskets to add colour & encourage bees, & they're all coming through too.
Last weekend I planted runner beans, courgettes & cucumbers. Beans already sprouting!:)
Also, the weather was an excellent bonus this weekend, as it was the start of my sporting season:
When the sun is beating down, & it is a lovely day, I find it quite joyous to play.
Looking forward to this week - off to see Dara O'Briain tomorrow, & James on thursday...:)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0
