Sounds nice. Have a lovely meal on Thursday or something. I'm off work from now until Friday next week and Mrs C is off on Thursday too. We're going to do some decorating, which I always really enjoy for some reason. Radio on, cups of tea, it always seems to be raining and we just chat away whilst painting. Funny how stuff like that can be fun and you actually look forward to it.

Can we ask how old? ;)

Enjoy the decorating. Forgot to say DH did buy me some eyeshadow.

Yes you can ask how old. I'm thirty

    ...again.:D

it went well last year, why change?

:( that doesn't sound so good.

It's just soooo dam difficult being in bottom of the pond too. I have got 4000 units late and need them NOW and management sending 'hinty' type emails as to why stock is low (cos factory does it in at his own speed but I can't tell them that) and OH drinving up tomo to collect something for Easter weekend thank god.

Also, DD had her first bit of sort of discrmination (I can't think of a better way of putting it) about her school today at a FEd college.

She was puzzled as to why they kept her back and were quizzing her on why she isn't doing A levels as her GCSE predicteded are so high (she just wants to leave school, do the course, work for us P/T and get out there ) and then they mentioned where she lives....and 'looked' at each other....*puzzled* and so on.

If they had just asked her outright...how come you to to X, she'd have told them.

Winds me up a bit but, not to worry. She had to expalin why she doesn't want to do A leveks and do a degree and why she chose their course. Odd. None of the others had to explain anything at all.

Hey happy birthday lir. Oh chickens. As a boy Dad had loads of them. There was a bit of ground, quite a bit, at the bottom of the garden. I think it cost 7 shillings and sixpence a year to rent. That was were the chickens lived and we had loads of fresh eggs to eat and lots more were sold.

I had 3 pet ones. Alan, Michael ( named after my child hood sweet hearts older brothers ). I did bend their gender. Another hen was called Jenny.

The !!!! birds were kept in a separate enclosure.

rofl. I plan to have thirty twice more, then jump to forty and look really good for my age for a few years, and get used to the number. I plan to be like my mother and stay somewhere vague in the forties until its too unfeasible...i think.. My mother now just says, ''over seventy...why?''

Just think of Ireland in the 80`s, LIR. VAT at 30%. Just quote your age as whatever less the VAT. I do, lol.

Not yet. But our new giant, light hallway is being painted these two colours tomorrow, with loads and loads of photos and artwork everywhere. I might stick up photos if it looks okay...

Could be our age but we are very pastel in colours. Lots of soft blue. We like light yellow. Nicest room in the house is the kitchen.
