Hotel Jupiter, Alcudia - Any one been???

We went at Easter and it was not too bad, weather was though. It was only half full and struggling to cope so I would not want to try it in the summer

please please dont go as a family of 5 we wnt 3 years ago it was horrific no lifeguards at the pool everyone packed into 1 hotel for eve entertainment no tables people bringing in tables from outside a real fire risk if you were in the miiddle of the room you would not have been able to get out very adult eve entertainment if you could see it or find a table our kids came back crying as they were at the front absolutly horrendous i cried the whole week
sorry to dissapoint you but a wet weekend in bognor has more going for it and is safer than this place

I would avoid anywhere in Alcudia with a 2 and 6 year old..

Its just not a child friendly resort ( even though it is touted as such). Its full of very busy roads and unguarded stinking canals which look like open sewers. The only hotel i would go to in Alcudia is one which fronts onto the beach ( the beach is nice and gently shelving).
Its built in swamp land so is full of mosquitos too.

Other resorts on Majorca are much better. I have been to Palma Nova , Santa Ponsa and Calas De Mallorca and rate them all as much better than Alcudia.
